摘　　要：1引言 随着多媒体技术的发展和应用需求的不断增长,多媒体数据库中视频数据越来越多,对视频数据的检索要求也相应增加.Video Partitioning serves as the preliminary step to structure the content of videos and is the basis of Content-based Video Retrieval. This paper presents a shot detection scheme combining color and motion features of videos. It first extracts the color and motion information from the compressed domain videos, then detects cut transitions and gradual transitions separately incorporating color features with motion ones. The experiment demonstrats real time performance with high accuracy.
