摘　　要：简要介绍英国物理学会出版部 (IOPP)的期刊运作与发行状况。认为我国科技期刊的主办单位和编辑部应大力借鉴IOPP的期刊出版方针和运行机制 ,充分利用网络媒体的时效性、互动性和开放性等特点 ,加强期刊的服务功能、扩大期刊的影响、吸引优秀稿源 。This paper briefly introduces the journal publishing and distributing mechanisms developed by the Institute of Physics Publishing (IOPP). To strengthen the journals' service function, enlarge journals' impact on science community and attract excellent papers from all over the world, IOPP takes the full use of internet technology and its website, and has made a great success. IOPP's successful experiences in journal publishing and distributing are very useful for Chinese scientific journals.
