摘　　要：介绍DQDB的特点、DQDB的不足和改进方法及MAN的相关实用技术 ,着重介绍上海教育与科研计算机网构架的演变过程、拓扑结构、关键技术和运行管理问题 ,并引出IPv6的理念。First, this paper expounds the characteristics of DQDB, its deficiencies and the ways to improve it. Second, the paper introduces the technologies of MAN. Third, it discusses the development, the topological structure, the technologies and the management of SHERNET. Finally, the paper proposes the concept of IPv6.
