It has been known that the influence on neuropsychological function at altitude is due to hypoxia, severe cold and other various factors. Because the experiment was performed in the chamber,so only the effect of acute hypoxia on the hand grip strength, the neuromuscular coordination and the touch sense of finger was observed at altitudes from 3500m to 5000m. 15 healthy, male divers were subjected and divided into 3 groups of 5 subjects each. Results showed that the acute hypoxia of simulated altitudes did not obviously affect the 3 neuropsychological tests mentioned above and tend to support the idea suggested by McFarland and Charles who considered that the neuropsychological function did not change significantly in the hypoxia environment at the altitude of 5500m.
