摘  要:统计分析表明,目前市场上钻石绝大部分<0.42ct,钻石戒指主要在1.5~3.6g之间,钻戒比则一般不超过3.2%,并且钻重和戒重之间有较好的线性关系。在此基础上,根据对圆钻体积和重量公式的推导结果,提出对镶单圆钻首饰的镀金重量及成色(密度)用静水力学法进行估测是可行的,金属重量的误差不超过0.01g,密度相对误差不超过1.2%。给出了测算步骤,并指出本法对其它具圆钻切工的宝石也是适用的。A statistic of 3 926 diamond jewelry indicates that about 97% of the diamonds in China market are standard round, the carats of the most diamonds are no more than 0. 42 ct and the ratio ofweight of diamond to ring is less than 3. 2%. The statistics also show a good linear reIation betweenthe weight of diamonds and rings. AccordinS to these statistical results and the estimate formulas ofthe weight and volume of standard round diamond developed before, it is cortified that the hydrostaticmechanios method is feasible in non-disassembled measuring the weteht and quality (density) of themetal of standard round diamond jewelry. The developed formulas show that the error for esttriatingthe weight of metal is less than 0.01 gram whilc for density, no more than 1. 2%. The measuring stepsare recommended in this paper. It is affirmed that such method also is acceptable for other gems in asame shape as standard round diamond.
