摘　　要：提供了一个可以从网上下载的“视频交通流检测演示系统”。系统通过预先设置 在屏幕上的视频检测线进行车辆的交通检测，可以测试车流量、车长及车速。系统采用狭缝 技术、动态背景刷新原理、彩色图像的阈值选取以及MPEG压缩视频来实现视频交通检测。该 系统提供了上海某交通路口的实时检测的范例。系统还可以拓展到其他视频监视系统中。This paper provides 'Demonstration system of video traffic flow meas urement' which can be downloaded from the Internet. The system recognizes the ve hicles by the gray scale variation on the video measuring lines that set down on the screen in advance. It can measure the vehicle flow, vehicle length and vehi cle velocity. In addition, it adopts the gap theory, dynamic background refresh, the threshold of color image and video compression. This paper provides an exam ple by using this system on the video of one intersection in Shanghai. The demo system can be applied in other video surveillance systems.
