Name correction for WGMOA and the requirements of new technical conditions

摘　　要：WGMOA不含串联放电间隙,在运行内过电压作用下即动作,不再仅起防雷(避雷器)作用。WGMOA(含MOV的SPD)实际是具有负温度系数的金属非线性电阻器。WGMOA中文名称应正名为"交流无间隙金属氧化物保护器",可简称"过电压保护器"或"限压器"。另外,为了保证WGMOA(含MOV的SPD)的服役期望期,即无事故工作年数,在型式试验中应进行安秒特性和伏秒特性,型式试验应提供"能量资源值"或"比能量值"和0.05s～24h的不同持续时间的"允许电压值",仅有10s定义的额定电压值是不能满足承受电网工频过电压(TOV)的要求。同时,为了与被保护物(如电力变压器等)绝缘配合的需要,WGMOA(含MOV的SPD)应向用户提供伏安特性。WGMOA does not contain series discharge gap, and acts immediately under operational inner overvoltage, and no longer take the effect of anti -lightning (arrester). WGMOA (SPD containing MOV) is actually a metal non-linear resister with negative temperature coefficient. The Chinese name of WGMOA should be corrected as 'Alternating current metal oxide protector without gap', which may be briefly called 'Overvoltage protector' or 'Voltage limiter'. Besides, to ensure the expected service period of WGMOA, i.e. working years without fault, it should carry out amperesecond characteristic and volt-second characteristic in type test. The type test should provide 'Energy resource value' or 'Specific energy value' and 'permissible voltage value' with different duration of 0. 05 s～24 h, rated voltage value only with definition of 10 s does not be able to satisfy the demand of enduring power frequency overvoltage of power network. At the same time, to reach the requirement of insulation coordination with protected object (such as transformer etc. ), WGNOA should provide volt-ampere characteristic for the consumer.
