摘　　要：万历二十年间 ,日本“关白”丰臣秀吉发动了侵略朝鲜的战争。明朝皇帝应朝鲜国王的请求 ,出兵援助 ,当时称为东征御倭援朝。丰臣秀吉发动战争的目的 ,不仅为了霸占朝鲜 ,而且意欲以此为跳板 ,“假道入明” ,进而实现其“大东亚构想” ,甚至妄想把日本天皇的首都搬到北京 ,建立“大东亚帝国”。明朝当局对此估计不足 ,以为只要答应日本方面的“封贡”要求 ,便会天下太平。其实不然。就在明朝皇帝册封丰臣秀吉为日本国王不久 ,丰臣秀吉立即重开战端。在战争的相持阶段 ,丰臣秀吉突然死亡 ,日军不得不仓惶撤退 ,使日军的失败提前到来。这场战争暴露了日本统治者妄图称霸东北亚的野心 ,丰臣秀吉的后继者们始终没有放弃这种野心 ,因此 ,这段历史就具有特别的意义。The Japanese kampaku (regent) Toyotomi Hideyoshi waged war upon Korea in the 1590’s. At the request of the Korean King, Wanli, Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, dispatched reinforcements there,which was known as expedition to resist the Japanese and to support Korea at that time. For Hideyoshi, the aim of the war was not only to occupy Korea, but also to invade China and to carry out his Daitoa Plan (Plan of Great East Asia). He even attempted to move the Japanese capital to Beijing and to set up the Daitoa Empire (the Great East Asia Empire ). The Chinese authorities underestimated the situation. They thought that as long as they met the Japanese demands of “offering official posts and granting rewards”, the world would be at peace. But soon after Wanli conferred the title of Japanese King on Hideyoshi, war broke out again. Hideyoshi died suddenly while the war was at a stalemate. His army had to retreat in haste.The Japanese ambition of dominating Northeast Asia was fully exposed in the war.Hideyoshi’s successors have never given up such an ambition. So this piece of history has its special significance.
