摘　　要：目的 :了解社区成年人肥胖的流行状况 ,为肥胖防治提供科学依据。方法 :采用 WHO诊断标准 ,对南海桂城区居住 5年及 5年以上 2 0～ 74岁的社区居民 8817人进行超重和肥胖的流行特点分析。内容包括问卷 ,测定身高、体重 ,对于≥ 40岁的被调查者还测定了腰围、臀围等。结果 :社区超重现患率为 2 1.13 % ,肥胖现患率为 2 .0 5%。女性的超重现患率和肥胖现患率 (2 2 .0 9%和 2 .43 % )显著高于男性 (19.93 %和 1.58% ) (P<0 .0 5) ;男性和女性的肥胖现患率随着年龄增加而上升 (P<0 .0 5) ;城市社区的超重和肥胖的现患率高于农村社区 (P<0 .0 1)。 40岁以上的人群中 ,腹型肥胖患病率为3 6.48% (以腰围为判断标准 )和 3 7.45% (以腰臀比为判断标准 )。女性腹型肥胖患病率明显高于男性 (P<0 .0 0 5)。结论 :超重和肥胖患病开始低龄化 ,超重和肥胖的患病率极有可能继续升高。因此 。Objective:To realize the epidemiologic al characteris tics of obesity among adults in community and provide scient ific basis for prevention and control of obesity among adults Meth ods:Epidemiological studies carried out in community of Nanhaigu icheng area,including 8817 subjects aged from 20 to 74 who had lived in th e communities for no less than 5 years Diagnostic criteria was based on the recommendation from WHO Epidemiological characteristics of overwe ight and obesity were analysed The questionnaire,body weight ,height were collected using standard protocols The hip and waist circumference s were measured in the persons aged 40 and older Results:The prevalence rate of overweight and obesity among adults were 21 13% and 2 05% re spectively The prevalence of overweight and obesity in female (22 09% and 2 43% respectively) were significantly higher in male (19 93% and 1 58% respectively)( P <0 05) ,the prevalence rates of obesity in ma le a nd in female increased with the age( P <0 05) Prevalence r ates of overweight and obesity in city were higher than those in cou ntry( P <0 01) The prevalence of abdominal adiposity in the persons ag ed 40 and older was 37 45% (by using WHR cut-offs),or 36 48% (by using WC cut - offs) Abdominal adiposity in women was more common than that of m en( P <0 005) Conclusion:Sufferers of overweight and o besity had become younger than ever The prevalence rate of overweight and obesity wil l be raised continuously ,suggesting an earlier research and practice of prevention and control for overweight and obesity need to be imple mented in community
