摘  要:1989年9月青岛崂山区上马镇养虾场部分虾池中流行红腿病。自垂死病虾体内分离出多株细菌,其中二株经感染健康成虾得到与病虾相同症状,证明所分离菌是对虾红腿病病原菌。经 63项形态及生理生化特性鉴定为普通变形菌(Protetus oulgaris Hauser)。中国对虾养成期红腿病系由条件致病菌所致,其作用部位在对虾血淋巴并引起血淋巴混浊、变稀、凝固能力下降。该病的实质是由于细菌侵入对虾循环系统而导致的败血症。During September 1989, an epizootic disease occured in shrimpfarms of Shangma Town, Laoshan,Shandong province. The disease was describedas red leg disease,characterized by an expansion of chromatophores on the pereio-pods and pleopods, giving these appendages a reddish coloration, yellow pigmenta-tion on the branchial region of cephalothorax and swimming activity reducing. Thehemolymph drew from moribund shrimp was thin, turbid and unclottable Twostrains of bacteria were isolated from hemolymph of moribund shrimps.Challengeexperiments showed that these isolates were some of the pathogens of the disease.The isolates were tested for 63 unit characters and classified as Proteus vulgarisHauser. The bacteria were Gram negative short rods with peritrichous flagella.Organic growth factors required. Swarming growth developed on the surface ofsolid media. Growth occured at 4℃ to 42℃, and in 0% to 10% (w/v)sodium chlo-ride. Catalase, indole,H_2S and phenylalanine deaminase were produced. Oxidase,β-galactosidase, arginine dihydrolase, lysine and ornithine decarboxylase werenot produced. A positive result was recorded for methyl red test but not for VogesProskauer reaction. Gelatin and lecithin were degraded,Nitrate was reduced. Thebacteria produced gas from glucose, and acid from glucose, sucrose and salicin,but not from arabinose, cellobiose, mannitol, mannose, lactose, raffinose andrhamnose. P. vulgaris was first reported as the causitive agent of shrimp disease
