摘　　要：面积是林业调查最重要的因子之一,利用GIS求算面积,其前提必须建立在空间与属性数据质量可靠的基础上,本文介绍了如何使用计算机GIS软件求算小班面积的要点、方法和步骤。Subcompartment area is one of the important factors for forest survey, under the prerequisite of reliable spatial and property data, the area of subcompartment can be calculated by applying GIS software. The essential points and methodology for calculating subcompartment area are described in this paper.
