摘　　要：根据渗流理论,推导了堤防背水坡脚附近发生管涌的计算式.据此,可预测堤防内发生管涌的范围.A formula to calculate the critical distance of piping in the back slope base of levees is developed based on the seepage theory. According to the formula, piping scope of the levee can be predicted.
