摘　　要：把体细胞胚胎发生现象看作开展生物学理论研究的良好模型,介绍了运用细胞生物学和分子生物学的原理与技术进行研究的成果,特别是体细胞胚胎发生相关基因的研究进展。This paper tries to make a review of research on plant somatic embryogenesis from two angles-both theoretical exploration and practical use. In the review, somatic embryogenesis is perceived as a good model for theoretical research in biological sciences, so recent progress in cell and molecular biology concerning this field is introduced, especially advancement in research on genes controlling somatic embryogenesis.
