摘　　要：期刊的平均引用率是影响该期刊引频次数与影响因子的主要因素之一 ,参考文献量直接决定着期刊的平均引用率。通过统计和分析认为 :在油气勘探类刊物中 ,《天然气工业》的引频次数与影响因子排名位居前列 ,出版时滞短 ;但平均引用率低、参考文献少。应当强调和重视参考文献的意义与作用 ,列入必需的和已阅的参考文献 ,避免虚列、多例甚至是不列参考文献。提高引文的数量和质量 ,特别是要加强对新近的国内外文献的关注和引用 ,争取提高该刊论文的检索率以及被引用频次、影响因子等引文指标。《天然气工业》的影响力会有很大的提高。The periodical average citation ratio,directly made up by reference,is an essential element of affecting the periodical quotation frequency Through statistics and analysis,it is verified that the quotation frequency and influence factor of Natural Gas Industry are in the front line of petroleum periodicals,and its press time lag is brief,but the average citation ratio is low and the reference is little The positive significance and role of the reference ought to be emphasized and paid more attention so as to enhance the influence of Natural Gas Industry
