摘　　要：“马兜铃酸事件”或称“龙胆泻肝丸事件”绝非单纯的学术之争,更深层次原因之一是文化歧视,是东西方文化在这一领域的一次较激烈冲突。此外,还有商业动机、环境氛围等其他因素。中药走向国际面对的是一个相当复杂的背景,作者相关建议值得深思(该文是在第4届中医药战略地位研讨会上的演讲稿)。This article points out that the ' Aristolochic Acid Event' or the ' Longdan Xiegan Wan Event' is absolutely not a contention of academic character and its further cause originates in a cultural discrimination and a sharp conflict between the East and West cultures in this area. In addition, there are business intentions, environmental atmosphere and other factors. It also indicates that the Chinese medicine is facing quite a complicated background before it marchs towards the outside world. Therefore the proposals made in this article are worth being considered seriously by departments concerned. The China Institute of Scientific and Technologic Information are being engaged in a national project of soft science - the study on the position of the strategy of traditional Chinese medicine. This article is a speech delivered at the Fourth Seminar on Strategic Position of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
