摘　　要：对西安明城墙内区域的地位、价值、发展保护现状进行概括和介绍,综述了国内外在历史文化名城保护方面的历史和做法,分析西安古城区在保护发展中存在的主要问题及产生原因,并总结历史经验对古城区历史风貌保护进行重新再认识的基础上,从不同层面提出了古城区发展保护的思路,并提出了具体建议。This paper gives a general introduction to the location, value and protection of City Wall in Xi’an. Based on historical experiences it further analyses the current problems existing in the protection of City Wall in Xi’an. The author proposes specific suggestions on how to develop and protect the ancient city.
