摘 要:本文调查了初级阶段欧美留学生识字量并对识字量跟字在已学教材生词表中的构词数的关系进行了分析 ,发现 :( 1 )零起点的欧美学生在经过两个半月的学习以后 ,平均对 394个字做到知音 ,对 36 0个字做到知义 ;( 2 )知音和知义之间显著相关 ;( 3)字在已学教材生词表中的构词数和识字量显著相关。The present research was a survey on the character acquisition for western CSL (Chinese as a second language) beginners and the correlation between the character acquisition and the productivity of characters in forming words. It was found that: 1) after two month's studying, the western CSL beginners had acquired averagely 394 characters in naming and 360 characters in knowing; 2) the correlation between naming and knowing were significant; 3) the acquisition of characters was significantly correlated to the productivity of characters in forming words in learnt materials. As a character formed one word in learnt materials, 42% of such characters were acquired in naming and 37% in knowing. As a character formed two words in learnt materials, 64% of such characters were acquired in naming and 58% in knowing; as a character formed three words or more than three words, 87% of such characters were acquired in naming and 81% in knowing.
