摘　　要：进入 2 1世纪后 ,我国地质勘查工作进入了适应经济社会可持续发展要求的新时期。在新的形势下 ,地勘单位如何找准自身应处的位置 ,对于确定其改革和发展方向尤为重要。本文通过分析事业型地勘单位和企业型地勘单位的特点 ,阐明了地质勘查单位在新时期应处的位置 ,并指出了过渡时期地勘单位的走向。After 21st century, China's geological exploration organization got into new period, adapting to the requirement for social economic sustainable development. How to occupy a correct place is very important for geological exploration to determine its direction of reform and development. The paper analyses the characteristics of different types of geological exploration organization, like institution and enterprise. Then, it expounds the position, which geological exploration organization should take during new period. Also, it points out the orientation of geological exploration organization during transitional period.
