摘　　要：城市地质是近年来引起广泛关注的地质工作的一个新领域。本文对国外城市地质工作的发展过程、发展特点、发展技术(方法)以及美国、加拿大、英国、德国等国家的城市地质工作现状进行了综述,为中国城市地质工作提供参考资料。Urban geological work is a new area of geological work which ha s drawn wide attention in re-cent years.In order to supply reference for Chin a's urban geological work,this paper gives a general ac-count of the develop ment process,characteristic and techniques(or methods)of foreign urban geo logical work.The present state of urban geological work in the United States ,Canada,Britain and Germany is also reviewed in the paper.
