摘　　要：从一九八四年到现在,我国先后四次派船赴南极考察,在完成建站任务的同时,积累了新海域、新情况下的宝贵航海经验,开创了中国远洋船舶航行到南纬69°22'24″的先例.作者通过亲身经历,以翔实的材料和透辟的分析,真实生动地记述了四次航行的经过,同时介绍南极自然地理概况和考察工作的历史、现状及其意义.这对于人们认识南极、了解极地航行的关键问题,更好地为和平利用南极做出贡献,将大有裨益.From 1984 up to now, the Chinese survey ships have had four study tours to the Antarctic. Valuable navigation experience in this sea area under certain circumstance is gained and the precedent of the Chinese ocean-going ships to 69 22′24″S is created at the same time when the observition stations were set up. According to his own experience, the author recounts the four voyages, the natural geography of the Antarctic and the history, the present situation and the significance of the Antarctic survey with detailed materials and a thorough analysis. It will be favourable for people to learn more about the Antarctic, to solve more problems of navigation in the polar areas, and to contribute more to the peaceful utilization of the Antarctic.
