摘  要:在TlBr与T11混晶制成多晶KRS-5光纤的基础上,用特殊方法制成单晶KRS-5光纤,克服了热压多晶光纤表面存在的晶粒间界、划痕包裹休等增加传能损耗的缺陷。本文报道了研制单晶KRS-5光纤的实验和光纤形貌电镜观测结果,并进行了分析讨论。KRS-S single cryslal fiber was made with a special method based on KRS-5 poly-crystal optical fiber made from TiBr and Til mixed crystal, which overcame the defects which could increase the energy transmission loss, such as crystalline grain interbondaries, scratches and inclusions existing on the surface of thermally pressed poly-crystal optical fiber. The experimental equipments for the development of KRS-5 single crystal fiber, the performance test and the morphological observation by electronic microscope are presented.
