摘　　要：建国初期,周恩来提出,人民民主统一战线要协调好人民内部的各种关系,要担负起为过渡时期总路线服务的新使命,要有广泛的代表性,并强调全党都应充分认识新时期统一战线的重要性和长期性。这为巩固和壮大人民民主统一战线奠定了重要理论基础。In the initial stage of new China,Zhou Enlai had pointecd out that the democratic united front of the people must harmonize the relationships of the people and carry the new roles to serve the general line and must have a comprehensive representation.He had also emphasized that our party members must understand the importance and long-lasting of the democratic united front of the new times.His viewpoints established an important theoretic ground to consolidate and strengthen the democratic united front of the people.
