摘　　要：190 1— 1911年 ,清政府在全国推行新政。时任广西巡抚的张鸣岐抓住契机 ,立足广西僻处边陲、民智未启、资源丰富这一历史现实 ,以统筹“边防全局”、“振兴实业”、“培养人才”为指导思想 ,致力于广西各项事业的建设 ,客观上推动了广西近代化。From 1901 to 1911,Qing government pushed Constitutional Reform all over the country., Guangxi province was remote and lack of intellectual development ,but rich in natural resource. Zhang Mingqi ,then the governor of Guangxi Province, grasped the reform opportunity and committed himself to construction of various causes under the thought of 'guaranteeing the frontier defense', 'initiating industry' and 'fostering talents'. He objectively drove the course of Guangxi modernization
