摘　　要：介绍陆良盆地及其周缘地质特征 ,论述地质演化史上的牛头山古岛与牛头山的差别 ,认为彩色沙林的彩沙物源为近源、多源性。As many previous studies indicated,the regional geological setting and evolution history,particularly those of the Luliang basin and surrounding area,must be taken into account in the study of the origin of the colorful sand sediment which formed the well-known colorful sand forest landscape.However,there is a distinct difference between the Niutoushan palaeoisland and the present Niutoushan mountain in location and extent.The further study shows that the origin of colorful sand and other clastics is proximal and polygenetic.
