摘　　要：核心期刊是文献计量学的统计结果 ,是定量评价期刊和科学研究成果的一种方法。针对目前在核心期刊和期刊评价认识方面存在的一些问题 ,以SCI和国内主要期刊评价系统为例 ,阐述了核心期刊的内涵和它在中国的发展历程 ,提出了应如何正确认识和使用“核心期刊”As a statistical result of document metrology,core journal is a quantitative way of evaluating journals and findings of scientific research.In view of some problems in understanding core journals and journal evaluation,and taking the evaluating systems of SCI and China's major journals for example,an elaboration is made of the connotations of a core journal and its development in China.Some ideas are expressed on how to correctly understand and use the evaluating methods of core journals.
