摘　　要：It is announced recently that the FY-2C satellite was de-orbited by the Xi’an Satellite Control Center(XSCC).FY-2C was the first operational geostationary meteorological satellite in China with the capability of making continued and stable operation in orbit.It was launched in 2004 and stopped operation in 2009.Ever since then。
