摘　　要：Construction on a biomass power generation project with a total invest-ment of RMB1.0 billion was started in Liquan County,Shaanxi province recently.The project is designed to turn 700 000 tons of fruit tree twigs and crop stalks in Liquan and surrounding areas into renewable energies.
