摘　　要：基于2013年江苏民办高校数据,利用主成分分析法及Matlab软件对江苏民办高校竞争力进行研究,得出其排名及综合评价值。然后,根据江苏竞争力最强的7所民办高校在中国科教评价网"2013—2014年中国民办院校排名"中的位次,得出结论:江苏民办高校发展滞后,竞争力较弱。在此基础上,分析江苏民办高校竞争力较弱的原因并给出相应对策。This paper uses Principal Component Analysis ( PCA ) and Matlab to investigate the competitiveness of Jiangsu Province's non-governmental Institutions of Higher Learning based on the data of 2013, and to obtain the ranking and the results of the comprehensive evaluation.According to the rankings of Jiangsu's seven most competitive ones in“China Non-governmental Institutions of Higher Learning Ranking 2013-2014”, produced by the Network of Science&Education Evaluation in China, it concludes that Jiangsu Province's non-governmental Institutions of Higher Learning are less competitiveness.On this basis, it an-alyses the reasons for being less competitiveness and proposes some countermeasures.
