摘 要:为了增加矢量量化压缩域信息隐藏方法的容量,提出一种改进的基于边缘匹配矢量量化(SMVQ)索引残差编码的无损信息隐藏算法。以基准方法为基础,利用划分索引残差取值范围的阈值和标志位信息进一步缩小索引残差的范围,降低编码比特数,提供更多冗余空间进行信息隐藏。实验结果表明改进后的算法能够有效提高嵌入容量,与基准方法相比,隐藏容量增加了2.96%~9.45%,比特率降低了3.30%~5.48%,整体嵌入效率提高了8.21%~13.18%。In order to increase the embedding capacity of VQ-based data hiding scheme,a lossless data hiding method using an improved side-match vector quantization( SMVQ)-index residual value coding is proposed. Based on the reference scheme,the proposed method further reduces the range of the index residual value with the help of two thresholds and indicators. Therefore,the proposed embedding scheme only needs fewer bits to encode the residual value,thus yields more extra space for data hiding. Experimentalresults indicate that the proposed scheme can increase the embedding capacity efficiently. Compared with the reference scheme,our method achieves not only 2. 96% to 9. 45% increase of embedding capacity but also 3. 30% to 5. 48% reduction of the bit-rate. As a result,the whole embedding efficiency is increased by 8. 21% to 13. 18%.
