摘　　要：社会主义发展的历史进程不是一帆风顺的,其间充满了艰难曲折甚至是重大的挫折,每一次的曲折和挫折都是社会主义走向胜利的历史代价,每一次的代价都以社会主义的新高潮作为补偿.从社会主义发展的整个过程看,代价与补偿是相辅相成的,因此,社会主义运动在20世纪末所付出的历史代价,必将以社会主义的又一次发展高潮作补偿.The historical process of the development of socialism is not smooth. It is accompanied by painful tortures and frustrations. Every torture and frustration is actually the cost which socialism has paid for every victory, and which is compensated by a new upsurge of socialism. Viewed from the entire process of the development of socialist movement, cost is always compensable. What was paid for the socialist movement in the 20th century is destined to be compensated in the form of another upsurge of new socialist movement.
