摘　　要：劳伦斯不但精于心理描写,而且擅长于象征运用。他的小说往往是现实和象征的有机结合。《普鲁士军官》即是这样的名篇之一。本文通过分析主人公上尉和勤务兵的心理对峙过程,对劳伦斯小说创作中细腻的心理探索和丰富的象征手法等现代风格作深入探讨。Lawrence is noted for his psychological descriptions of human beings and his skilful use of symbolism. His novels are normally the organic combination of reality and symbolism. The Prussian Officer is one of such famous works. By analyzing the antagonism between the captain and his orderly, this article profoundly probes into Lawrence' s writing style characterized by minute psychological explorations and frequent employment of rich symbols.
