摘　　要：本文简述了新疆转基因棉花育种现状 ,比较分析了主要转基因棉品种在新疆的表现及存在的主要问题 ,提出了新疆转基因棉育种的方向和加快转基因育种进程的建议。This paper briefly introduced the present situation of transgenic cotton breeding in Xinjiang province, where is one of the major cotton production area in China. Field performace of transgenic cotton cultivated in Xinjiang and exiting problems were analysed and compared, and also the objectives of Xinjiang transgenic cotton breeding and how to speed up the breeding progress has been put forward in this paper.
