摘　　要：介绍金属氧化物避雷器在串联补偿工程上的应用及其特性。This paper introduces the application of metal oxide surge arresters t o protection of series compensation power capacitors, and analyses the character istics and structure of arresters. The current distribution test method for arre ster is described.
