摘　　要：面对新形势、新挑战 ,科技期刊要想站稳已有的市场 ,应对办刊工作进行改革。通过回顾《广东农业科学》创刊 38年来的发展历程 ,从办刊宗旨、强化精品意识、加强编辑队伍建设、建立适应市场经济的经营机制等方面论述了提高《广东农业科学》质量的途径。Sci-tech periodical must be reformed in the running work of the periodicals so as to consolidate available market under new situation and challenge. The paper looks back the 38 years of developmental history of the periodical of Guangdong Agricultural Sciences,and discusses the ways to improve periodical quality. The discussed matters could be broken down into several aspects,such as periodical objectives,high-quality consciousness,editing team,operating mechanism under market economy,etc.
