摘　　要：《平板显示器腾涌未来》,日、韩、中国台湾都把平板显示作为继半导体集成电路之后的电子信息战略产业,21世纪经济热点。不惜投入巨资,积极开发生产。平板显示取代CRT是大势所趋,当然这有个过程,不可能一蹴而就。平板显示发展至今,品种繁多,性能不一,用途各异,彼此互补。但综合观之,当前LCD、PDP和OLED三星高照,最为引人瞩目。平板显示器应用始自计算器、电子表等一般消费品,随后锲入计算机监视器领域,笔记本电脑、台式机先后成为主要应用领域。展望今后,数字大屏幕电视和移动多媒体双马齐驱,将是牵引平板显示器业前进的重要动力。Displays are on everything these days. FPD will succeed CRT as main displaydevices, but not right now, it has an evolutionary process.The arrival of LCD,PDP and OLED devices has made FPD widely available. Theyare called “three delicately emerging stars” in the FPD field.At first, FPDs were widely used for calculators and digital watches, then asmonitors, then notebook and desk computers are killer applications for LCDs oneafter another. But in the future, digital TVs and mobile multimedia will be maindriven forces for FPD industry.
