摘　　要：广场是城市的有机构成元素之一,由于其特殊的城市背景、地理位置、周边环境、基地现状等实际存在的因素作用,被赋予了多重的“意义需求”。广场设计过程就是对“多义”进行整合的过程。本文试图以兰溪市民广场设计为例,探讨广场设计中的多义性的整合。Square, as one of urban organic composition factors, usually is endowed with multi-meanings due to the influence of existed factors such as: urban background, geographical position, neighboring surroundings and site situation, etc. In fact, the process of a square design is also a process of integrating the multi-meanings of the square. Taking the Lanxi Civic Square as an example, this paper tries to approach the subject mentioned above.
