摘　　要：随着Intranet和Internet的发展,在模具CAD/CAM领域,我们迫切需要基于网络的分布式CAD/CAM数据库系统,而不是以往的仅仅基于单机的数据库系统,文中通过对Delphi的基于MIDAS的多层分布式数据库架构的研究,提出基于C/S和B/S两种模式下模具加工常用刀具参数与切削用量远程查询的解决方案。With the developing of Intranet&Internet-in the field of CAD/CAM for mould-we cry for a new kind of DBMS(Database Management System)which is based on MIDAS(Multi-tier Distributed Application Services)-since the old DBMS has been of no use under the Intranet&Internet circumstance.In this article we bring forward a remote database query method for the parameters of mould machining tools in common use based on C/S&B/S after we researched the MIDAS technology from Delphi.
