都柏林核心元数据在数字图书馆资源组织中的应用与思考

摘　　要：元数据是数字图书馆建设的关键技术之一 ,是数字图书馆用以进行知识组织和资源发现的工具 ,本文从都柏林核心元数据着手 ,对元数据的概念、特征、元数据功能及其作用进行了叙述 ,并根据都柏林核心元数据在我国数字图书馆建设中的应用实践 ,对元数据的组织、检索所存在的问题进行了探讨 。The metadata is a key technology and a tool of organization of network information resource on d igital library construction.The article begins with the definition of Dublin Cor e metadata,then analyses the character and function and effect of Dublin Core El ement Set.According to the practice of digital library construction,it was discu ssed the problems of organization and retrieval by application of Dublin Core me tadata.Author put forward some advices to resolve problems of Chinese metadata.
