摘　　要：乔伊斯·卡洛尔·欧茨是美国当代著名小说家,从事小说创作长达40年。她创作了30余部小说,奠定了在美国文坛的地位。欧茨的女性主义创作观的形成与发展以及她同主流文化和女性亚文化圈子之间存在密不可分的关系。Being a famous contemporary writer in America, Joyce Carol Oates, in her 40-odd years of writing, has published more than 30 novels and firmly established herself in American literary arena. Based on careful analysis of the novels at different stages, the present thesis is an attempt made to probe and elucidate Oates' feminist consciousness and her relationship with the mainstream culture and subculture.
