摘　　要：1999年,埃经济发生危机,外汇短缺,政府无法坚守埃镑的原汇率,从今年1月起,实行浮动汇率制。但从埃外贸现状和实行浮动汇率制的背景看,近期内埃外贸赤字无法改变,但随着汇率的稳定、外贸结构的调整、政府政策的正确干预,必会从浮动汇率制上获益。Since 1999 Egypt has plunged into an economic crisis and been short of foreign currency, therefore the government cannot stick to the former exchange rate of Egyptian Pound. Since January this year, Egypt started to adopt floating rate policy. This article will start from the trade condition of nowadays' Egypt and background of carrying out floating rate policy, analyzing the impact of floating rate policy on trade and the measures taken by the government and also their effect through discussion of the selection of the exchange rate policy by Egypt.
