摘　　要：张泽咸先生的新著《汉晋唐时期农业》将由中国社会科学出版社出版发行,本文即是该书的序言和结论部分。前者将祖国划作11个自然经济区分别进行深入考察,后者则着力探讨了自汉至唐千余年间各地区农业发展变化的趋势及规律,显现出作者通古今之变的史识。Editor's notes: (Agriculture of the Han,Tang and Jin Periods)-a major piece of writing by Mr.Zhang Zexian-is going to be published by the Publishing House of Chinese Social Sciences. This article is adapted from its prelude and its conclusion. In the former, he divides China into eleven natural economic regions and makes deep going examinations of each respectively . In the latter, he probes into the development tendency and laws of the agriculture in different areas over the thousand of years from Han to Tang,which shows the author's erudition in China's history.
