摘　　要：英国的“1830年代理论家”是一批激进的自由主义者 ,他们鼓吹按照科学原则系统殖民 ,呼吁授予移民殖民地责任政府 ,对 19世纪中期英国人传统帝国观念的转变 ,以及英帝国殖民政策的重大改革 ,起到了宣传启蒙与推波助澜的作用 。The'1830s Theorists' was a group of radical liberalists In England.By advocating the systematic colonization according to the scientific principles, and appealing to responsible government in the British colonies, they not only aroused the transformation of the traditional concept about the British Empire in the 19th Century, but also promoted the important reform on the British colonial policy. They are indeed the forerunner of that times.
