摘　　要：CAS Vice President Chen Zhu and former foreign secretary of the French Academy of Sciences Yves Quere were elected co-chairs of the InterAcademy Panel (IAP) from 2004 to 2006 at its General Assembly held from Dec.1 to Dec.5 in Mexico City.
