摘　　要：广州市城市基础地理信息系统作为广州市空间基础设施的关键技术支撑和重要组成部分,在近10年的建设中奠定了良好的基础并得到了可持续的发展。从项目的立项、总体设计、数据标准制定及数据库建设等方面进行了归纳总结。同时,从WebGIS的应用开发、3DGIS的应用开发、多功能应用的城市基础地理信息数据库建设3个方面阐述了广州市城市基础地理信息系统的建设与发展。As pivotal technical sustentation and important components of urban spatial data infrastructure, the urban basic GIS of Guangzhou has been well established and continually developed during recent decade. This paper sums up such questions as approved project, general design, construction of database, establishment of data standard, and so on. At the same time, the authors present the construction and development of Guangzhou urban basic GIS (GZBGIS) including the following 3 aspects:application and exploitation of WebGIS, application and exploitation of 3D GIS and construction of database used for multifunctional urban basic geographical information.
