摘　　要：Chinese dialects dictionary compiled by Fudan University of China and Kyoto Foreign Languages University of Japan,has been published by Zhong Hua Book company in 1999. This dictionary provides a true representation of dialects with over 210,000 entries,5 volumes,7532 pages and 17320,000 words,which represents the most significant development in the description of dialects from pre-Qin to 1989. No other single-volume dictionary provides such authoritative and comprehensive coverage of Chinese dialects.
