摘　　要：　在内蒙古巴林左旗存有一座千年的辽代祖州"石房子",它由7块巨石造成。经实地考察和认真测量,一块顶盖巨石的重量约达32吨。"石房子"位于原祖州城内的山腰台址上,是辽太祖天皇帝庙。笔者就"石房子"的现状、构造、用途等问题进行了初步考证。There is a 'Stone House', which is built of seven huge stones and which has a history of 1,000 years and which was once in Zuzhou, the Liao Dynastg, i.e. now the Balin Left Banner in Inner Mongolia. The top stone weighs up to about 32 tons by making an on-the-spot investigation and measuring. The 'Stone House' is situated at the platform site halfway up the mountain in the former city of Zuzhou, which was once the temple of Emperor Taizu of the Liao Dynasty. The author did textual research into the present situation, the structure, the use of the 'Stone House' and other problems.
