摘　　要：中美纺织品贸易摩擦发生的原因在于:(1)加入WTO后,中国部分纺织品对美国出口增加使美国的一些厂商利益受到影响:(2)中美贸易不平衡的扩大增加了美国对中国出口增长的不满情绪:(3)美国国内政治因素诱发了中美纺织品贸易摩擦的发生。此次贸易摩擦的发生不仅会使中国生产者遭受损失,也会给美国带来损害。The paper attempts to discuss the causes of the textile trade conflicts between China and the U. S. A. and it points out that the causes can be mainly seen in three aspects on the American side. 1) viewing China's growing textile exports to America as impairment of the interest of its domestic manufacturers; 2)complaint about its growing trade imbalance with China; 3) political factors with the domestic affairs. The paper points out that the textile conflicts will bring harm not only to Chinese manufacturers but also to American consumers.
