摘　　要：60年前成立的北平研究院,在中国现代科学技术事业的发展过程中,具有相当重要的历史地位。本文在追溯1929～1949年北平研完院发展简史的基础下,考察了北平研究院在20年间的组织与管理情况以及它所取得的主要成就,从而进一步说明作为中国科学院前身之一的北平研究院,以其基础研究和应用研究并重的优异工作、以及在组织队伍、倡导协作、培养人才等方面的突出成绩,为新中国科学技术事业的组织和管理提供了极有价值的经验。This paper rviw briefly the history of Peking Research Acadey from 1929 to 1949,investigate its organazing and management state and main achievements in the 20 years,demonstrate that,Reking Research Academy,as onepredecessor of the Chinese Academy of science,through its excellent achiev-ment in basic research as well as applied research and through its outstandingrecords in organizing research troops promoting coordination and personal trai-ning provided high valuabale experienes for the organizing and management ofScience and technology of new China。
