摘　　要：19世纪中期的历史比较语言学在发展中呈现出范式的多元化,其边缘性范式是词源学、语言古生物学和古典语文学,其主流范式是自然主义学派。边缘性范式扩展了历史比较语言学的研究领域,主流范式提出并实践了历史比较法的主要原理。文章在探讨各种范式的历史功能的基础上,对主流范式作了系统的梳理和深刻的反思。The development of the historical comparative linguistics (HCL) in the middle of Nineteenth century presented the diversified research patterns,the fringe ones of which were etymology,linguistic paleontology and classic philology,the main one of which was the naturalism school. The fringe patterns expanded the research realm of HCL,while the main pattern brought up and practiced the main principles of historical comparative methods.This text systematizes the main patterns of HCL and gives a deep reflection to it on the basis of the exploration of historical function of every pattern.
