摘　　要：开放性是高师外语教学法课程的基本特征 ,它包括 :对相关学科与环境的开放 ;对中学外语教学实践的开放 ;对文化的开放。正是有了开放性 ,外语教学法课程才生生不息 ,充满活力。Being open is a basic feature of the course in the Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching in teachers' universities or colleges. It includes the opening to the concerned subjects and environment, the practice of foreign language teaching in middle schools and the culture .So it is just the feature of being open that makes the course in the Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching full of life and vitality.
